Course Objective

This diploma course is designed to cultivate competent and industry-relevant professionals who are able to contribute effectively within contemporary digital business environments. Moving beyond a narrow focus on technical tool proficiency, the course emphasizes the development of analytical thinking, effective communication, informed decision-making, and responsible practices in the use of data, technology, and business information.

  • A fully online track designed for remote learning, featuring virtual lectures, digital collaboration tools, and synchronous coursework.

Course Duration

  • Full-Time Program: 8 months

5 days per week x 3 hours per day

  • Part-Time Program: 12 months

2 days per week x 3 hours per day

Assessment

i) Each module will be assessed via the coursework with the following formats:

  • Written Assignments and/or Practical Examinations
  • Capstone Project (Final Module)

ii) The written assignment, practical examinations and Capstone Project will be set and marked by ICASTEC.

Entry Requirements

  • Minimum Age: At least 16 years old
  • Language Proficiency: Applicants should have obtained a pass in English at Grade C6 or above in the GCE ‘O’ Level examination, achieved an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent, or possess an equivalent recognised English language qualification.
  • Academic Level: Applicants should have successfully completed the GCE ‘O’ Level examination or higher, with passes in at least three subjects at Grade C6 or better, including English, or possess an equivalent qualification.
  • Basic IT literacy: Applicants should possess basic computer and digital skills.
  • Mature Candidate Admission (Alternative Entry): Applicants who do not meet the minimum academic entry requirements (such as GCE ‘O’ level qualifications, including passes in English and Mathematics) may be considered for admission if they are at least 25 years old and possess a minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience, subject to an interview and/or assessment of their ability to successfully complete the programme.

Course Fee

  • S$ 6,540.00 (inclusive of other fee S$1,360.00) (Total course fee inclusive of 9% GST)

Course fee excludes miscellaneous fee which are non-compulsory or non-standard fees payable only when necessary. A breakdown of course fee is given in the PEI-Student contract. In accordance with the PEI-Student contract, course fee is refundable but miscellaneous fee is not refundable.

Eligibility of Graduation

  • Students are expected to attain a minimum of 40% in order to pass each module.
  • Students who have successfully passed all required modules and achieve minimum average score of 50% will be eligible for graduation.
  • Should students fail in any module, one can re-register for following with costs:
    • Re-assessment without revision
    • Re-module with assessment
